In a cell like room with high ceilings and bright light a woman was giving birth bent over a large table. She birthed 7 new borns but they weren’t all human. One was a large silvery fish, another 2 were unrecognizable slimy insect creatures, one was some sort of a four legged beast that ate the insect creatures, one was a human child that was clearly unformed to the point it clearly couldn’t survive and was in fact killed by ‘something.’ The rest were normal humans that eventually survived to become 4 humans who did not bring goodness into the world but were malevolent and destructive. I don’t know who the woman was who was giving birth. It might have been me. I was the narrative voice in the dream, terrified and sickened by the event. And then it was over. Horrifying. (Note: I had just watched a program with a scene of a woman giving birth in a bar on a pool table but it was funny and sweet in its tone.)
